Product Care

• Hand wash cold with a mild detergent
• Work it gently through the fabric; no wringing, twisting, or scrubbing
• Never machine wash
• No bleach or fabric softener; both break down stretch fabrics and dull embellishments

• Air dry only
• Lay flat or hang away from direct sunlight
• Never put a Shay Kawaii piece in the dryer; heat damages elastic, vinyl, and adhesives

• Do not iron rhinestones, vinyl, holographic, or metallic fabrics
• Heat will melt, cloud, or lift the finish permanently
• If a piece needs smoothing, steam lightly from a distance on the reverse side

• Store flat or hanging
• Keep away from anything that could snag chains, mesh, or lace
• Keep embellished pieces from rubbing against each other

• We don't recommend it for embellished or specialty fabrics
• Dry cleaning chemicals can damage rhinestones, vinyl, and holographic finishes
• Hand washing cold is always the safest option
